Anna King
Anna King is a Managing Director at Epsilon Economics and specializes in data analytics and economics with an emphasis on life sciences and healthcare. She is an author of the chapter on “Econometric Analysis” in the Litigation Services Handbook.
Ms. King has advised healthcare clients on a range of matters, including evaluating market power and antitrust harm arising from alleged market monopolization; consulting on the terms and structure of licensing agreements; assessing damages and liability in disputes related to kickbacks and financial inducements; consulting on the value of patents in and outside of litigation; assisting with regulatory matters; and assessing damages and commercial reasonableness related to allegations of breach of contract, including joint development deals, confidentiality and disclosure agreements, and supply and rebate agreements.
She has submitted expert reports and testified before U.S. courts and domestic and international arbitration panels. Ms. King has been involved in consequential engagements that have included licensing deals exceeding a billion dollars in payments, the largest pharmaceutical kickback dispute to date, patent and contractual disputes with billions of dollars at issue in leading disease areas, and the largest government investigation to date related to alleged failure to comply with cGMP requirements.
Anna holds a BA in Economics from the University of Chicago and an MBA specializing in economics and finance from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
